Islam a revolution

Islam indeed came as a revolution when Europe was still in dark ages. People were discriminated on the basis of their colour and slavery was rampant. The condition of women was abysmal. Even the critics of Islam admit that the religion offered the best social order.

Patrick Hughes said " the condition of women tremendously changed and a vast improvement in the social status of women came due to the teachings of Mohammad" .

It was indeed a revolution that in the age of darkness when a girl was killed as soon as she was born, Islam raised the status of women to such a level that she could marry and divorce at her will, get compensation after divorce, remarry and get share in property of her husband and father.

Justice is given so much importance in Islam, is evident by the fact that in the case of a Jew against Hazrat Ali, (Who was the Caliph of Islamic World), Qazi Shuraih declined to accept the testimony of Hazarat Ali's son and servant as both were related to him. This is the concept of Islamic Justice with non-Muslims.

It was this wonderful message of Islam which made Islam the religion of entire Asia and Africa and Islam reached the shores of Europe in such a small time.
