Plight of Muslims

There is acute need for a Muslim platform to counter the propaganda unleashed by the West against Islam. Organisations like OIC (Organisation of Islamic Countries) serve little purpose. They mostly pass resolutions and due to the lack of coordination, nothing concrete is done. Despite numbering over 1.2 billion and being the dominant community in both Asia and Africa, Muslim voice is nowhere heard. The need for a platform arises because :

Muslims are hundred times in number than Jews but still the killing of one Jew causes bombing on Palestine while genocide of thousands of Muslims in Russia, China, Myanmar, and other countries does not attract the World community.

The OIC and Arab Countries show little interest in the problems of Bangladeshi, Burmese, Indian, Pakistani, Lankan and Chinese Muslims, which together comprise roughly 40% of the total Muslim population.

Thousands of Muslims were slaughtered in Bosnia and hundreds of women raped; and children were mercilessly killed but the world looked on. An intervention happened only after thousands were killed. Now this is happening in Chechnya and the world is still silent.

An Israeli soldier is killed by Palestine guerillas, the world media expresses outrage but when US launch missile attacks on Sudan and Afghanistan; no one dares to speak.

Thousand die of hunger in Somalia but media attention comes only after months. Relief works reach the Muslim world in the last stages.

Muslim community outside the Arab world is poor and lack even basic health facilities, education and jobs. In countries where they are Minority, Riots and violence against them are a common feature.

In India Muslims are second in member after Hindus. They are only 1% in government jobs. Their language, Urdu, has been systematically killed but they don't protest. They give lives for the sanctity of the borders but still are seen with suspicion. Jobs are not offered, in riots properties are ransacked and mosques are targeted. Centuries old Babri Masjid was razed to ground but Government didn't do anything. Muslims who are giving there blood for the nation are called ISI agents: the worst abuse.
