Islamic Tolerence

Muslims are always targeted for being intolerant. This is the most ridiculous charge against Muslims. In all the 70 Muslim countries, Christian, Hindus, Jews are treated at par with Muslims. In Turkey, a 99 per cent Muslim country, the first woman premiere Tansu Ciller was a Jew. Butrous Ghali who became UN General Secretary was an Egyptian Jew. In Muslim countries including West Asia and Indonesia, minority people have headed the highest post with all power in their countries. This has never happened in a Christian or Hindu country that a Muslim is made the head of state. But, the truth is that the women premiers have been there only in Muslim countries-Pakistan (Benazir Bhutto) Turkey (Tansu Ciller) and Bangladesh. In Bangladesh both the leader of opposition and the PM have been women for the last decade. Isn't this proof of the liberty Islam gives to women. Despite all this hue and cry about empowerment of women, in the 200 years, USA has had no women president while Bangladesh has 2 in 30 years.

Take the case of India, riots never take place in districts where Muslims are in majority. There never have been riots in Kishanganj, Rampur, Mallappuram, Muzaffar Nagar, Saharanpur, Kozhikode, Karimganj, Araria, Katihar, Bijnor or Mewat region.

Never have riots or attacks on religious places been heard there. But riots always happen at Aligarh, Kanpur, Meerut, Ahmedabad and cities where Muslims are in the range of 10-20 per cent. Why it happens? Are Muslims so truculent that despite being in a ratio of 1:9 they fight? No in fact, in these cities Muslims are attacked, their processions are stoned, their sentiments are played with, mosques are attacked, at the time of kar seva the list of 3000 mosques to be demolished was made, while in Muslim majority countries this never happens.

In Russia for almost a century mosques were closed by the communists. Is this tolerance or the one exhibited by Muslims?
