If now is not the coup, then when?? There is no governance in the country. The country is being ruled by looters and treacherous, who seems representing US more than their own countrymen. The waiting politicians are no different. All seems to have one priority in their minds, elections (power grab). The nation is fed up and at the edge of revolting, and as no surprise, within 2 years the country's economy is bankrupt from super booming. This is the outcome of democracy in Pakistan.
One thing the military is expected to do differently. Remove the government, put them all on trial, with their assets siezed (most are stolen money), and install a group of respected muslim technocrats to take the country out of this mess. The list includes many, whom the whole nation trust. Among them are Dr. AQ Khan, Zaid Hamid, Gen (retd.) Hameed Gul, Imran Khan, and so on....
This is a solution that the whole nation is awaiting and will be thankful to the military. Each day delay is an added half a billion in debt.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry and other judges have made statements against the parliament declaring secularism a threat. The issue at question is not secularism, but the 18th Amendment and appointment of judges. More broadly, the question is whether parliament is the proper body to make changes to the Constitution. But rather than answer these legitimate questions, the Chief Justice appears to be using straw men to scare the public. As for the petitions challenging the 18th Amendment, Article 239(5) of our constitution clearly says, “No amendment of the Constitution shall be called in question in any court on any ground whatsoever.” Thus it makes no sense to waste the time of the nation by hearing arguments for or against it. These petitions should be dispensed with as soon as possible so that everyone can focus on other, more immediate, greater tasks at hand.

The bureaucracy won. What is the good reason of appointing Secretary IT, Joint Secretary IT admin and Joint Secretary Development all Rtd army (Signal group) men. All of them were together in the army. It is a shame for the nation of Pakistan that they have no civilian for IT Ministry after destroying every department and Organization these retired army Col and Gen are now given the charge to destroy the IT Sector. What is their contribution for IT. The executive directors snacked by the Minister were the most corrupt and non IT & Telecom professionals.
The honorable Secretary IT Rtd Col Najibullah Malik is the son in law of Gen Mujeeb ur Rehaman ex Secretary Information in Zia regime . He has served in Punjab Government and has brought bad name to the Government. He has provided services in Religious Affair (Hajjis quota) where everyone is aware of his great achievements for Hajji quota.
There are only baseless roamers against the IT Advisor. What corruption he has done in four months, he is only trying to utilized the IT for the public services. The Minister Incharge is accused of having thoughts of placing his relative on a CEO post. Did he sack 4 Executives to get one post for his kin. He is removed from the charge on the basis that Secretary IT thinks he will do this and that what is on ground. People are accusing that he will do but have committed no crime so far in IT Ministry.
Why the Ministry is so afraid of him, what they are hiding? We all know the progress and accusations on other Ministers. Does he has fake degree? Why the kind PM has taken action after knowing that he “might” do something wrong? What is the achievement of Ministry of IT and what is their contribution in last two years?
We all know that IT has no share in providing services to the Citizens, the projects were to favour the big IT & Telecom companies which all failed and no services for the Citizen. Do Retd Col Secretary IT would like to tell the Nation what is his achievement in the last two years in the Ministry of IT. He is not answerable to any of you. After his retirement he is enjoying full benefits of a Secretary and what is his qualification.
Under his kingdom the IT Professionals are working as slaves. Do they have IT Cadre, job security, medical facilities or any reason to work for IT. The position of IT professionals under the Ministry is pathetic the cleric staff has been given more facilities then these slaves. Through these slaves the Executives are enjoying full powers. These IT professional (slaves) are deprived of basic human rights to control them. Who is responsible? Why should Secretary IT care, he is enjoying every facility after his retirement from army this country is for army and bureaucracy to suck the blood out of the veins of bloody civilian.
PM should reconsider his decision and give some time to the Mr. Latif Khosa, let him do some cleanup.
Ministry of IT should inform the nation what is their achievements in last two years.
The IT professionals request the honorable PM to reinstate Mr. Khosa as Minister Incharge IT. My questions to the Secretary IT are:
Universal Service Fund Company
1. Why major chunk of subsidized projects was awarded to those companies who had their representation on the board of the USF Company e.g. PTCL and Telenor. PTCL got projects over 7.7 billion, whereas, they never paid a single rupee, as they were required to commission 83,000 lines in rural sector in-lieu of 1.5% of specified contribution by every licensee.
2. Why CEO USF Mr. Perviaz was appointed without applying for the job and is still holding the position after expiry of his contract and has awarded 20 Billion Rs contracts.
3. Why CEO of ICT R & D Fund Company awarded 33 out of 37 project without the consent of board and non of its project have any outcome.
4. Why the hiring in the ICT & D is through the private sector, the employees were siding with their favorites for positions.
5. Why the brother of Member Telecom is in USF and his wife in PTA.
6. Why Member IT is on his position for last 10 years and so far failed to give a IT policy and define cadre for IT Professionals and still holds the position. Is there no one suitable for this position in Pakistan in last ten years?

News and current affairs programmes have become commercial goods instead of a source of information. Live terrorism coverage is providing action in the intrigue-filled political drama of Pakistan. After the mushroom growth of media now almost there are around 28 news channels in the country. This fast changing scenario created a serious shortage of human resources, particularly in finding experienced television news and current affairs journalists and anchor persons. The vacuum was filled by attracting journalists from the print media by offering them good packages. Except for one or two TV channels, nobody invested in the training of these print media journalists and the new arrivals in television journalism. Television journalism requires quick decisions and an ability to make editorial judgments on the spot. This absence of training, poor editorial control, growth of anchors who have become too powerful to be checked by the news or current affairs editors and the vested interest of the owners has raised many questions about the violation of professional ethics by the several TV channels. Now it seems important that there must be some code of conduct or check or balance system for the media. The unleashed media lead the current set up towards turmoil.

The media boom in Pakistan is an indication of the fact that we have an appetite for awareness. But I have personally experienced how negative impacts our media is leaving on the public and especially on young generation. It is no way wrong that media is taking utmost advantage of its freedom and playing in hands of anti- Pakistan and anti-democratic forces. This leads me to believe that the media is doing worst as the biggest advocacy tool for people and institutions in the country. Most Pakistani newspapers and news channels have played havoc with this nation and some pro- Taliban journalist playing a dangerous role in shaping the views of new generation towards militancy.

Although the provincial authorities have included this district in red zone area regarding the surveillance for Taliban terrorists activities in 2009 but in spite of that there was no formal activity was seen here. Bhakkar is situated in Punjab on the Indus River bank which is a natural boundary line between Bhakkar and D.I. Khan,( Khyber Pakhtoonkhawah) and there are several crossing points on the Indus River, where any body can cross the river by paying only Rs. 30 nobody take a look on your luggage, you can carry any kind of explosives with you without a threat of capturing it because not a single police man is found there.
These corridors are also used by terrorists who cross the river and can easily hit the other parts of Punjab. There is not even a single check point of police at these entry points or the surrounding areas of Indus River (called Kuchay ka area) especially on Punjab border side. To avoid and eliminate the terrorist activities the PTA authorities have already suspended the mobile phone services in D.I. Khan city but at river banks and its surroundings the mobile signals works strongly and terrorists at both sides of the river can freely communicate. They warn their friends on the other side before any unexpected activity of law enforcement agencies. This easy approach between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtoonkhawah for terrorist and free communication with illegal Uphone sims is an eye opening threat to Bhakkar city and south western Punjab where there is already a Punjabi Taliban threat has become a big issue. The Indus River corridors in Bhakkar and Layah district are big source of terrorist activities. To decrease these activities and its eradication must be the first priority of law enforcement agencies.

Unregistered mobile sims are being used in criminal and terrorist activities in Bhakkar
In Bhakkar the criminal activities murders, robberies and animal theft are being done with the help of unregistered mobile sims.
it was disclosed by district police sources that few months back when a Uphone sim belonged to a franchise was found involved in a murder of a young guy in Bhakkar city.
When the matter was investigated, police found that a Uphone sim which had no identification /issuing record with company was used in this murder incident.
By tracking the calls history it was came in to knowledge that the same sim had been used by a person named Imran Bhidwaal, who is one of the owners/partners of this franchise (mobile company branch)
The story is started in late 2009 when a young guy belonged to a well off family of Vehari district Punjab and a girl set up mobile phone friendship. The girl belonged to an influential political family of Bhakkar city.
Later on the story uncovered in front of the other family members. In retaliation and grudge a fake friendship plan was planted by the relatives of this girl. They used another girl who trapped this guy in friend ship relations. For communication purpose the unregistered Uphone sim was taken from Bismillah mobiles and used.
The fake girlfriend invited this guy in her city (Bhakkar). On reaching in the city the unfortunate guy was shot dead by anonymous murderer. After this incident happened the fake girlfriend returned the mobile sim to the franchise owner and Imran Bhidwaal started using it for his own. The Uphone communication record disclosed several other secrets belonged to the same kind of activities in Bhakkar. The police registered an FIR in Thana Sadar Bhakkar against anonymous murderers and their helpers. The procedural investigations to the suspects are in progress.
Although Bhakkar is situated in Punjab side but there is only a river (Indus) shows a boundary line between Bhakkar and D.I. Khan,( Khyber Pakhtoonkhawah) and there are several crossing points on the Indus River, where folks cross the river through ferryboat service and easily reach to the both provinces within 30 minuts.
These corridors are also used by terrorists who cross the river and can easily hit the other parts of Punjab. There is not even a single check point of police at these entry points or the surrounding areas of Indus River (called Kuchay ka area) especially on Punjab border side. The writer personally travel through this area but could not find a single police post at any entry point on River bank or in city entry points

To avoid and eliminate the terrorist activities the PTA authorities have already suspend the mobile phone services in D.I. Khan city but at river banks the mobile signals works strongly and helpers at both sides of the river can freely communicate and warn their friends before any unexpected activity of law enforcement agencies. This easy approach between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtoonkhawah for terrorist elements is an eye opening threat to Bhakkar city and south western Punjab that can be targeted by Terrorists and its stoppage must be the first priority of law enforcement agencies.
