PM Gilani leaves for Egypt
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani left for Egypt Tuesday to represent Pakistan at the Non-Aligned Movement summit at the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh. The prime minister is expected to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Dr. Manmohan Singh on the sidelines of the NAM summit on Thursday in a bid to restart the stalled peace process between the two countries following the Mumbai attacks. Gilani will also meet with other world leaders at the sidelines of the summit.
