JI demands former President Musharraf trial under article 6
Majlis-e-Shura of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Tuesday unanimously adopted a resolution calling for trial of former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf under article 6 of the Constitution. In a statement issued here, JIs Majlis-e-Shura demanded in his resolution that Nov 3, 2007 actions of Musharraf being an army chief should be undone.
