Implementation of FATA regulations recommended to President Zardari: Najamuddin Khan
Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions Najamuddin Khan has said that President Asif Ali Zardari has been requested to implement the FATA Regulations in place of Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) in tribal areas. Talking to journalists here on Monday in Peshawar, the federal minister said the committee on FCR had forwarded its recommendations to President Zardari for his approval. Najamuddin said it has been recommended to the President that the FCR should be renamed as FATA
