Four militants killed in S. Afghanistan: US military
The U.S. military says international and Afghan army forces have killed four militants in southern Afghanistan. The troops were attacked by gunfire and rocket-propelled grenades Saturday while patrolling in Shinkay district of Zabul province. A U.S. statement issued late that night says the forces shot back at their assailants and called in close-air support.
