Govt says knows US hostage’s kidnappers
Pakistan government has identified the kidnappers of an American UN official being held captive and surrounded the area, a minister said, as a deadline to kill the hostage was extended. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said security forces had surrounded the area where John Solecki, head of the UN refugee agency, was being held, but would exercise caution. “We have identified the kidnappers and the place where Solecki is being kept,” Qureshi told reporters in central Multan city
