US Senate slams ‘reckless’ Blackwater unit in Afghanistan


WASHINGTON – Military contractors in Afghanistan working for the security company Blackwater regularly carried unauthorised weapons and engaged in “reckless” behaviour that included the accidental shooting of a fellow contractor, a US Senate investigation has found.
