Mumbai attacks charge sheet to be filed today

Prosecutors are expected to file charges on Wednesday against Ajmal Kasab, the lone terrorist captured alive during the November 11 attacks on Mumbai. Police sources said the charge sheet, which was being filed a day before the legally-mandated 90-day deadline, would prepare the ground for the prosecution of Ajmal for 12 separate sets of offences under a welter of laws, including the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, the Arms Act and the Indian Penal Code.
